We're hiring a Clinical Director to lead our team of Care Coordinators in delivering specialized psychiatric rehabilitation services for young mothers. You'll oversee personalized care plans, ensure alignment with best practices, and collaborate closely with our multidisciplinary team to foster a compassionate environment. As a leader, you'll play a vital role in empowering young mothers to achieve their mental health goals and promote resilience within our program.

We're looking for a remote licensed clinical mental health professional

Must be licensed as LCSW-C, LCPC or LCMFT in Maryland

Qualifications:

Required

  • Master Degree in social work or related field (such as Psychology, Counseling, etc.)
  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) proficiency

Preferred

  • Behavioral Health experience: 2 years
  • Previous experience in management :  2 years
  • Patient coordination experience: 1 year

Responsibilities

  • Manage medical records, including obtaining them from other agencies when necessary.


  • Monitor and ensure the completion of each participant's rehabilitation plan.


  • Manage authorizations via Optum in collaboration with Billing Specialist


  • Provide initial and ongoing training to staff members.


  • Check our services against state requirements to ensure they're up to standard and billable.


  • Oversee the counselors working with our clients, providing guidance and support.


  • Verify that session notes are accurate and ready to be shared.


  • Track counselors' activities and prepare billing documents accordingly.


  • Coordinate intake appointments for new clients and oversee their initial assessments.


  • Match new clients with suitable counselors.


  • Engage with external organizations and the community to attract new clients.


  • Address and resolve any issues or complaints from clients.


  • Participate in staff meetings to discuss client care strategies.


  • Offer emergency support to clients when needed.


  • Conduct monthly staff meetings to ensure everyone is informed and aligned.


  • Address any concerns or questions from counselors about their cases.


  • Meet with the program director regularly to review operations and progress.


  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards to maintain program accreditation and pass inspections.


  • Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by the program director to support the smooth running of the program.
