Join our team as a Social Work Intern, dedicated to supporting young mothers in our psychiatric rehabilitation program. In this mentorship capacity, you'll guide these moms through the challenges of motherhood and mental health, crafting support plans, leading group sessions, and linking them to community resources. This role offers a unique chance to profoundly affect young mothers and their children's lives while enriching your experience in psychiatric care and social work.

We're looking for passionate social work interns

Must be a Master's-level graduate student from accredited universities with social work or counseling programs

Qualifications:

  • Have a Maryland State driver’s license
  • Have a reliable vehicle and proof of insurance.
  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) proficiency
  • Be comfortable meeting clients in their home and community
  •  Strong time management and organizational skills

Responsibilities

  • Participate in developing treatment plans


  • Coordinate care across services


  • Handle referrals to HOPE Health & Wellness programs


  • Carry out case management duties


  • Join in on monthly training seminars and lectures


  • Take part in both individual and group supervision



  • Engaging in projects aimed at connecting with clients
